OEM ATV Rims

mojo quad rimsOEM ATV rims are available from all the Japanese, American, and Canadian ATV manufacturers. Although they do stock various aftermarket atv rims, they are the best source for genuine OEM rims.

They are selected using microfiche for all Arctic Cat, Bombardier / Can AM, Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris, Suzuki, and Yamaha quads.

Most ATV enthusiasts are open to options aside the the original wheels, however Bike Bandit has the OEM parts if you are just looking to replace one rim or if you are doing a restoration.

There was a time when steel rims were the only choice, however heavy duty aluminum has taken the reigns today. The lightweight material can withstand almost as much abuse as steel with a major savings in the weight department.

About ATV Rims

That's right, you won't go anywhere without this critical component and if you do any hard riding, the proper rim and wheel selection is essential to staying on the track or trail. Unfortunately rims are damaged with some regularity and will require replacement from time to time.

Depending on your riding habits and your particular ATV, you'll need to make a choice between steel and aluminum wheels first, then check compatiblity with your wheel hubs. The quad rims become the basis of the ride.

We have all seen the tires sizes stamped on the sides of our ATV tires. So how do we determine the size of our rims? Let's break it down... A tire that is sized 28x10x12 would fit a 12 inch rim. The tires are sized "outer diameter" x "width" x "inner diameter". The inner diameter measurement is your rim height measured in inches. When rims are sold separatley, they will be sized for "outer diameter" x "width".

Next issue is the bolt pattern of the quad rim. This is critial otherwise the rim will not mount to the hub. A Bolt Pattern of 5/144 means that there are 5 bolt holes. The 144 means that the spacing of the bolt holes is 144mm. the holes must be layed out accurately or the rim will not mount.

Most times, you can look up the proper rim according to the model but it still pays to meaure your bolt pattern in case a previous owner changed the spindles.
