Universal ATV Fenders
This is a great source for universal ATV fenders as well as some OEM plastic fenders.
They are well known throughout the dirt biking world for large inventory and fast shipping but their presence in the quad industry is impressive as well. Plastic fenders are available from Maier and UFO among others.
The popularity of the aftermarket plastic fenders has grown mainly based on cost, but these plastic possess many of the characteristics of the OEM replacements and are just as durable.
The Motosport following has grown substantially in recent years thanks to growing support for ATV enthusiasts. Their print catalog was initially geared toward the dirt bike crowd.
Cheap Quad Fenders
This is always a great source for cheap quad fenders and and plastic body parts for Chinese and generic quads.
There is an opportunity here to find plasti fender either new or used for many of the budget brands and defunct Chinese ATV's from names like Yamoto, Sunl, Baja Moto, Eton, Sunner, Dinli, etc.
The fenders and body parts unfortunately have to be purchased as universal kits at times because the lack of OEM Chinese quad parts.
Anyway, the eBay site has added some cool features including an email notification system. This enables you to be notified by email when a certain part or product is listed by a private party or commercial seller.
OEM ATV Fenders
OEM Quad fenders are available for the Japanese, American, and Canadian ATV manufacturers. Although they do stock various universal ATV and quad fenders, they are the best chance for genuine OEM fenders.
Front and rear fenders can be selected using microfiche for all Arctic Cat, Bombardier / Can AM, Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris, Suzuki, and Yamaha quads.
It's hard to say if ther majority of ATV enthusiasts select OEM plastics or not since no data is available publicly. Your decision should be based on your riding habits and your expectation of resale value down the road.
If you are a stickler for original parts only. Their parts fiche makes it easy to see if your OEM fenders are still available. Some of the manufacturers have been phasing out the older parts, unfortunately the fenders have been an example of obsolescence.
About ATV Fenders
A good clean set of quad fenders can make a well worn ATV look like new. A destroyed set of fenders on a newer ATV can make it look like heck.
Cracks and abrasions are normal in the off-roading world, but there comes a time when everyone wants to replace damaged plastics.
Fender replacement comes at a price. Market conditions dictate the fact that plastic fenders hasve gone up in price in recent years. In other words, plastics have become an investment in the future of your ATV.
You biggest decisions come in the form of OEM or aftermarket plastics. If you've decided to try the aftermarkets, then you may have a color selection ot make as well. Last but not least, is your decals. decals must be purchaed separately so don't forget about them since they really enhance the quad's appearance.
